The Fight for Change charity boxing event, hosted by African Pride Fighting Championship (APFC) and Siv Ngesi Productions, took place on the eve of Youth Day 2017.

On 15 June, a number of amateur fighters competed in a charity fight night at the Tsogo Sun Cape Sun, aimed at raising funds for child focused charities, Pebbles Project and Dare 2 Share. Both organisations look after South African youth who are destitute.

Edge Capital proudly supported the charity Pebbles Project on the evening. The purpose of The Pebbles Project is to enrich the lives of children from disadvantaged farming communities in South Africa through their 5 pillars of education, health, nutrition, community & protection. The focus is on children from disadvantaged backgrounds with special educational needs, especially those whose lives are affected by alcohol, through providing support and training to local wine farm and township creches, and establishing after-school provision for older children living in the Winelands.
