Women’s Month provided the opportunity to once again donate to organisations that support the vulnerable in our society. The CSR Committee identified St Anne’s Home in Woodstock and the Thuthuzela Care Centre at Karl Bremmer Hospital in Bellville.

15 care bags were donated to the ladies of St Anne’s Home – a shelter for mothers and their children. 20 care bags were delivered to the Thuthuzela Care Centre for rape victims.

St. Anne’s Homes is a non-government organisation situated in Woodstock, Cape Town. They offer shelter and care, as well as empower abused, destitute and pregnant mothers and their young children. Thuthuzela Care Centres (TCCs) are one-stop facilities that have been introduced as a critical part of South Africa’s anti-rape strategy, aiming to reduce secondary victimisation and to build a case ready for successful prosecution.
